The new Trinder's reagent is a chromogenic substrate for peroxidase, which is usually used for enzymatic detection of various biochemical indicators, such as the detection of triglycerides in serum. For example, TOOS and ADPS have higher molar absorbance and higher sensitivity; while MAOS has a maximum absorption wavelength of 630 nanometers, which exceeds the absorption wavelength of most substances in the sample, avoiding the interference of impurities.

Triglycerides are triglycerides. Its content reflects the human blood lipid level and is closely related to our health. It is composed of glycerol and 3 fatty acids to form ester organic matter, which is the most content of natural fats. Triglycerides and apolipoproteins in the blood combine to form very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL) and chylomicrons, which are distributed throughout the body. An increase in triglycerides may be accompanied by an increase in low-density lipoprotein (LDL). The new Trinder’s reagents used to detect triglycerides may be different in different kits, and MADB is the more commonly used one.

During the measurement process, triglycerides are first hydrolyzed into glycerol and fatty acids in the presence of lipoprotein esterase (LPL); glycerol and adenosine triphosphate ATP are catalyzed by glycerol kinase (GK) to generate glycerol-3-phosphate And ADP; glycerol-3-phosphate and oxygen are catalyzed by glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase (GPO) to generate dihydroxyacetone phosphate and hydrogen peroxide; the generated hydrogen peroxide can make the chromogen substrates MADB and 4-AAP Coupling oxidation occurs to generate quinone imine substances, and then the maximum absorption wavelength at 630nm can be detected by a spectrophotometer. The analysis method usually adopts the colorimetric endpoint method.

In addition to the detection of triglycerides, the new Trinder’s reagent can also be used for the detection of low-density lipoprotein or other biochemical indicators. The types of reagents used for different indicators may be different. According to Desheng's production and sales experience, TOOS, MAOS, ADPS, etc. are commonly used.
