Trinder enzyme colorimetry is also called enzymatic photometry. It is a biochemical detection method based on Trinder reaction and peroxidase. The Trinder's reagents used are called enzyme chromogen substrate, color source substrate, and chromogenic substrate. It is suitable for the detection of blood glucose, blood lipids, liver and kidney function and other indicators in biochemical kits or biochemical analyzers.

The hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) produced by the test substance through the action of the enzyme in the presence of 4-aminotipline (4-AAP) and peroxidase (POD) enables the chromogen substance to generate a red quinone imine compound. Then use a spectrophotometer to measure the content or change of the color-developing product to analyze the content or activity of the substance to be tested.

Advantages of Trinder Enzyme Colorimetry:

1.Enzymes are involved in the color reaction of chromogen substrates. Due to the high catalytic frequency of enzymes, the reaction effect can be greatly amplified, so that the determination method can achieve high sensitivity.

2.The enzyme has strong specificity and strong anti-interference, because the serum contains too many substances, and the enzyme has specificity. For example, adding glucose oxidase will only catalyze the oxidation of blood sugar to hydrogen peroxide, but will not catalyze the oxidation at the same time in the serum. The presence of uric acid and so on.

3.It has a wide adaptability and can be used to detect multiple biochemical indicators, such as liver function: adenosine dehydrogenase, 5'-nucleotidase, free fatty acid; kidney function: creatinine, uric acid; glucose metabolism: glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, glycosylated white Protein, 1,5-anhydroglucitol; blood lipids: cholesterol, triglycerides, high (low) density lipoprotein cholesterol, and other items.

4.TOOS/TOPS chromogens with high equimolar absorbance can also be used in dry chemical methods. It has high accuracy, fast speed, simple operation, no daily calibration, no preparation of solution, no pretreatment of specimens, small amount of specimens, and sometimes it can replace wet chemical method for emergency specimens.

Moreover, the new Trinder's reagent has been greatly improved on the basis of traditional chromogens (phenol, aniline): water solubility is improved, the UV absorption of the product is greater than 540nm, the color reaction requires a wider pH range, and the color reaction sensitivity is higher. Desheng develops and produces ADPS, TOOS, TOPS, ADOS, HDAOS, DAOS, ALPS, MAOS, MADB, TODB, a total of ten kinds of sodium aniline sulfonate
