Chemical properties: it is a light yellow paste with a flash point of 149 ℃ and a flow point of 60 ℃. The solubility of water at 25 ℃ is 1%. It has high decontamination ability, good dispersing power of calcium soap, anti hard water ability and good biological solubility.

Application: This product can be used as calcium soap dispersant in soap, instead of sodium tripolyphosphate as low phosphorus or non phosphorus detergent, or as active substance in liquid washing. In chemical book industry, it is used as medium foam mineral flotation agent; in leather degreasing, as dispersant and wetting agent in dye, pigment and pesticide; in printing industry, it is used as deinking agent. It can be used as cleansing cream, shampoo foam bath, tableware detergent, hand washing agent raw material, etc. As biological buffer, it can be used in biochemical diagnostic kit, DNA / RNA extraction kit and PCR diagnostic kit.

Production method: surfactant MES, chemical name is fatty acid methyl sulfonate sodium. The common products are sodium stearate sulfonate, sodium laurate sulfonate, sodium Croton sulfonate, sodium palmitate sulfonate. The preparation method of sodium stearate methyl sulfonate is introduced as an example. The preparation process of this product includes three steps: preparation of methyl stearate, sulfonation and neutralization of methyl stearate. The lard was put into the reactor and methanol was added. The molar ratio of the two was 1:2. After heating and dissolving under stirring, sulfuric acid with 0.3% of the total feeding amount was added as catalyst. After heating and refluxing for 6-7h, the transesterification of chemical book was completed. Transfer the material to the distillation tower, first evaporate the excess methanol, and then evaporate the glycerin under reduced pressure. The bottom material of the buss is methyl stearate, and then the methyl stearate is sent to the sulfonation kettle. Sulfonation was carried out with sulfur trioxide as sulfonating agent. The molar ratio of sulfur trioxide to methyl stearate is (1.2-1.25): 1. Dilute the sulfur trioxides to about 6% to ensure that the sulfur trioxides are fully absorbed. The reaction temperature is controlled at 70-90 ℃. After 4-6h reaction, 12% sodium hypochlorite was used for bleaching. Finally, neutralize it with sodium hydroxide solution to pH 8-8.5.
