[Chemical properties] It is soluble in alkali liquor, dilute acid, almost insoluble in water, and insoluble in alcohol. Neutral or slightly acidic solutions exhibit intense bright blue fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light.
[Use] Chemiluminescent reagents are commonly used in chemiluminescent immunoassay, such as metal cations and blood detection.
[Luminescence detection] The optimum fluorescence wavelength is 425 nm (Chemiluminescence detection in 60 mK2S2O8, 100 mK2CO3, PH11.5 solution).
